PET ADOPTION & TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP AGREEMENT

This agreement is a legal contract between the Breeder (Seller) and the Buyer for the adoption of the puppy described below. Both parties agree to the following terms and conditions.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

  • • Remaining Balance: {{currency}}{{balance_due}} (Due at the time of pickup or delivery)

Refund Policy: The {{currency}}{{deposit_paid}} deposit is used to reserve the puppy and take her off the market. Therefore, it is non-refundable if the Buyer decides not to complete the purchase. A refund will only be issued if the Breeder determines the home is not a safe fit, or if the puppy becomes unwell before the transfer.

4. HEALTH GUARANTEE

The Breeder guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale.

  • • Infectious Diseases: Guaranteed for two (2) years from the date of transfer.
  • • Genetic Defects: Guaranteed until the puppy is one (1) year old.
  • • MANDATORY VET CHECK: To keep this guarantee active, the Buyer must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within {{vet_window}} days of receiving her. Failure to do so will void the health guarantee.
  • • Exclusions: Hip or joint issues caused by improper diet, overfeeding, or strenuous exercise after the puppy leaves the Breeder are not covered.

5. RIGHT OF RECOVERY (REHOMING)

The Buyer agrees that this puppy will never be placed in an animal shelter, pound, or rescue center. If the Buyer can no longer care for the dog for any reason, they must contact the Breeder first. The Breeder maintains the "Right of First Refusal" to take the dog back or assist in finding a high-quality new home.

6. PICKUP AND DELIVERY

• Pickup: Available on weekends between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please schedule in advance.

• Delivery: If the puppy is being delivered, the Buyer assumes all responsibility for the puppy’s well-being once she is registered for transit. The Breeder is not liable for complications that occur during or after the shipping process.
